06.09.2025 from Zoran
I have front set of 2 tires 1 year and around 20000km old, and rear set 6 months and around 10000km. Tyres are excellent for my car on dry and wet. There's not much snow in this part of England, but was some WET snow last winter and tyres were good on start and in curves but on braking just slide (wet snow i suppose). I have been on the road trip this summer 5000km+, and tyres aren't worn at all. Good grip in curves on motorway at high speed (up to 180 km/h) on dry and wet.

08.06.2026 from J Amin
This is the second time I have bought a full set of these tyres. I mostly drive on motorways, country roads and off road. My fuel efficiency went up when I put on my first set. The ride is more comfortable and the grip is excellent in dry and wet weather. They have performed well on snow. Despite being all weather the rate of wear is very good. I would definitely buy them again.
18.09.2024 from Ersan
My tyre size was 205 55 16 but not in the list! Unbelieveble in wet surface but average on dry breaking. Good aquaplanning and snow traction. Good comfort but average noise.
06.03.2024 from Viktor
Tires keep the vehicle nicely on the road, no traction problems. On ice British roads they perform great no problems stopping or going.
12.01.2022 from Scott
I'll be honest I've never purchased all season or winter tyres before, I've always made do with mid range to premium summer tyres. During winter I've very rarely struggled in snow with summer tyres but after fitting the Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons Gen-3 tyres the performance in snow is night and day, no sliding, very little loss of traction and braking distance is vastly reduced. These tyres are fantastic, it's too soon to comment on wear rate which will possibly play a factor in if I purchase again but so far so good. I would highly recommend them too anyone.

18.12.2023 from Jeremy Spillane
I can’t yet comment on grip in snow and ice, as I haven’t yet driven it in those conditions, although I did buy these tyres to be able to drive in any conditions, all year round. These tyres are only on the front of the car, as these were the only All Season tyres of the correct size for the front of this car. The rear tyres are a larger size, and I have a different make of All Season tyres on the back. The car drive’s perfectly with the tyres I have fitted, and it feels very grippy, and quiet, under all conditions. I am very impressed with these tyres and I’m confident they will be excellent in snowy and icy conditions as well. It is too early to cont on wear and MPG, but that is not an issue for me.
25.08.2023 from Malcolm Ash
Excellent tyres, have used these tyres on many types of vehicles over the years and they have performed superbly. They are my go to tyre.
01.06.2022 from Marky L
Whilst the grip is good in snow, these tyres really struggle to get the torque down to the road from the the 1.4 Hybrid 215PS during acceleration when the surface is wet OR dry. It's particularly bad in the wet, where the wheels spin easily. Even on the electric motor drive only, a dab of the throttle to over 80% power sets the wheels spinning at low speed. The Michelin Pilot's that were fitted as standard have much better grip on the wet roads than the Nexen. Therefore I wouldn't class the Nexen as "all season". It should really be classed as a winter tyre only. I wouldn't like to run these tyres all year round due to the inferior grip in most conditions (except snow of course). I wouldn't buy this brand if I wanted an all-weather tyre again. I'd purchase a proper winter tyre and swap around in the seasons as I've had to do with these anyway!
04.06.2020 from Raf
Overall good tyres. Slightly noisy but not to extend. This is what you would get from all-weather tyre - bit of all. Not most economical on fuel consumption again this is all-weather tyre which is not as good Michelin Cross climate but good for its price.

Good grip on wet and dry roads. Reasonable grip on snow and icy roads. Noisy on dry roads. Fuel consumption has increased. All in all decent tyres.
07.04.2024 from Harry
Incredibly capable tyre for all conditions, but my experience on the roads in West Yorkshire will probably dictate that I don't purchase these tyres again as they are too soft on the sidewall, they do need some sort of protective band. The roads a terrible around Haworth for potholes, and in this case I could not dodge one and it has ripped the sidewall and damaged the rim, rendering the tyre scrap.

Long distance motorway driving mainly. No excessive speed, braking or other maneuvering. Little recent experience of real winter conditions.

Perfect tyres for this country, I am not worrying about winters and raining summer, tyres working superb all season. Quiet and comfortable
18.01.2019 from Maz
Initially not that impressed but after an adjustment period/ bedding in found the tyre to be very consistent in almost all conditions. Only slightly let down in tight roundabout wet conditions (has a tendency to go into very slight understeer) but not always. Tyre performance seems very sensitive to maintaining the correct/ recommended tyre pressures. In recent days the temperature has dropped to just about freezing where these tyres have really started to show their winter biased abilities. Great grip and response ind dry and cold wet conditions. One worthy point to add to potential purchasers is that I thought I had purchased the "seal inside" version but had not. This stock of old and new by tyre suppliers is frustrating. Other than that I would recommend the tyre for the sensible non sporty driver.

Michelin all season tyres – a brand you can feel at home with

Michelin is, perhaps, the most recognisable brand in the tyre industry, and THE choice for premium and mid-range tyres of all types. The manufacturer has one of the longest histories in the industry, and is responsible for many of the key advancements in tyre technology throughout the ages the rubber tyre has existed. Today, Michelin all season tyres come in all sizes with features to handle all weather conditions, so if you’re looking to invest in top quality then they are definitely worth checking out.

The Michelin all season tyres range:

The Michelin CrossClimate+ tyre fits passenger cars, and is suitable for general road use. Its braking performance is as good as any summer tyre on dry roads, and it achieves great traction on the dry and wet even in colder conditions. It is certified approved for snow conditions, with the promise of great mobility on snow from the first to the last mile. And it is available in a range of sizes, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding your perfect match.

The CrossClimate SUV provides similar performance characteristics to the CrossClimate+, but also comes with SUV-specific features to guarantee a smooth, safe and comfortable ride in your SUV. It also comes with the patented Michelin Longevity technology for increased durability, and features for reduced fuel consumption so you can get more miles to the gallon.

The Michelin tyres that win awards – credentials you can trust

  • The CrossClimate+ won the 2017 Autobild rating of ‘Exemplary’, meaning it leads the way on all season tyres.
  • The Pilot Sport 4 won acclaim in 2017 from Sport Auto, Autobild, Evo Tyre and Auto Motor and Sport.
  • The Michelin Pilot Alpin was commended in 2017 by Autobild, AutoMotor Sport, Autobild Sport Car and Sport Auto.

Award-winning Michelin all season tyres come with the greatest of acclaim

At www.tyre-guru.ie we are great admirers of the CrossClimate range, and the performance they deliver in different weather conditions never ceases to amaze. If you’re happy to pay a little more for extra quality, then Michelin are the way to go.
