Exceptional behaviour in wet .Good in dry conditions but not for extremely fast driving. Excellent breaking properties. Very high mileage!!

Terrible grip especially on wet - went sliding on a roundabout with slow speed. Simply doesn’t grip on the road well. I have tried several tyres in my driving time but these sadly are one of the worst purchases I’ve made. I was hopeful as it’s Goodyear but it’s a huge disappointment. Don’t waste your money on this. The noise isn’t too bad, but fuel consumption is poor and so it’s the grip!
26.01.2022fromR
Nearly perfect road tyre in my opinion. I usually drive sensibly, but often "spirited" and found no major downsides, grips really well. ~2000 miles so far I don't see any wear at all (unlike the budget tyres I had before). The only drawback was going through puddles at speed, but I think that's more my car lacking a limited slip diff.
07.11.2021fromKrzys
I used to own Primacy 4's which I liked very much, but pricewise 4'were too expensive. I think Goodyear Efficient Grip 2 are very comfortable tyres. They produce less internal noise when compared to Primacy 4's. Also Goodyear Efficient Grip 2 are softer and less precise (just by marginal difference) than Primacy 4's. Overall I like Goodyear Efficient Grip 2 very much and I think these are safe, comfortable and well pierced premium tyres. I'll buy these tyres again for sure. I would say I should do around 45,000 km in this tyres (front axle) seeing current usage (1.3mm) after 8,500 km.

The tyres perform well for day to day driving, but lack confindence in the intial turn if your pushing the car. The brakng performance in a straight line whiles in wet is incredible and reliable. Accelerating in the wet very good but not as good as the braking. The tyres do not make much noise on the motorway and seem to be puncture resistant. I would not recommend these tyres for those who want to push the their on the weekend as they simply let go.

Good all-round tyres. Safety & quite.
02.04.2020fromClive Williams
The tyres have provided a remarkable improvement in handling and grip, inspiring confidence that translates into improved A-B times as well as being more comfortable than the previous tyres i.e. Nexen.

I have tried virtually every chinese built tyre over the years on my classic mini and they dont last more than 5000 miles. The rubber compound is too soft, I get through at least one set of tyres a year. They were cheap but are now getting more expensive. Tyres from mytyres are shipped from germany, not oxford, and mine took 6 weeks to arrive...

<div align="center"><img class="imgBrand" alt="" src="//image.delti.com/simg/Logos/Goodyear.gif"></div><br> <div align="center">The Goodyear summer tyres options</div>

Goodyear offers a great selection for the summer months, with numerous options in the following categories:

  • Max Performance
  • Ultra High Performance
  • Premium Touring
  • Touring

Where do the Goodyear summer tyres perform well?

Numerous reviews and customer feedback suggests that the Goodyear range (which even includes tyres for earthmovers) is very strong in terms of traction in both dry and wet conditions. Particular highlights include the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 from the Max Performance category and the OptiGrip from the Premium Touring range. With Goodyear, you can expect a combination of high-traction and great comfort with impressively short braking distances.

Other highlights from the Goodyear summer tyres range

Another high performer is the Eagle F1 GSD3, which has proved popular among experts and customers alike. They receive particular credit for their handling in dry and wet conditions, though it has been noted that they aren’t the quietest tyres on the asphalt. Their durability is average, so they will give you a pretty respectable life cycle with moderate use.

The DuraGrip is another tyre that has won high praise in tests and from users. One of the notable highlights is the design property that offers high durability and minimises fuel consumption as you glide over the asphalt. A slight weakness has been noted in wet conditions, but they are excellent on a dry surface and will offer you a fantastic life cycle with minimal wear. If you are a high-mileage driver, these are a great option.
