The NS-20 is Nankang’s new high tech product and was developed to the highest standards. It unifies improved handling with minimal noise levels thanks to a new silicone compound in the tread and features excellent wet grip, extraordinary curve stability and high mileage.
Straight Wide Grooves:
4 straight wide grooves enhance tyre drainage efficiency and manoeuvrability on wet road condition.
The two sub straight grooves on tyre shoulders assist the main grooves drainage efficiency and reduce tread wear.
Tiny Lateral Kerfs:
The kerfs can reduce pattern noise caused by tyre rolling.
Sipes on tyre shoulder reduce tyre block rigidity, lower the noise from the road, and increase comfortability.
NANKANG design team creates NS-20 with 5 pitches computer simulation technology to decrease noise at high speed.
Brand New Compound:
New silica compound makes NS-20 have excellent grip ability on both dry and wet surface.
The European Union has introduced the EU Tyre Label by Regulation (No. 1222/2009) identically and bindingly for all EU member states. It applies to passenger car tyres, light commercial vehicle tyres and heavy commercial vehicle tyres produced after 01.07.2012.
Three different areas are tested: rolling resistance, wet grip and the rolling noise the tyre makes on the road.
The following are not affected by the EU Tyre Label: retreaded tyres, professional off-road tyres, racing tyres, tyres with additional devices to improve traction such as spiked tyres, T-type emergency tyres, special tyres for fitting to vehicles first registered before 1 October 1990, tyres with a maximum authorised speed of 80 km/h, tyres for rims with a nominal diameter of 254 mm or less or 635 mm or more.
With this regulation, the European Union is pursuing the goal of promoting economic and ecological efficiency in road traffic as well as increasing road safety on the one hand, and on the other hand, granting consumers more product transparency and at the same time serving as an active decision-making aid.
Already during the incorporation, experts criticise the fact that the EU Tyre Label unfortunately only shows a few product characteristics. Apart from rolling resistance, wet grip and rolling noise, which are the main focus of EU tyre labelling, tyres have much more important and safety-relevant product characteristics, such as aquaplaning properties, driving stability, service life, braking properties on dry and wet roads, behaviour in wintry conditions, etc.
Tyre manufacturers point out that test results from various institutions and journals remain an important information medium for the end consumer. These tests usually focus on further safety-relevant product characteristics besides the EU standard qualifications for tyre labelling, which are always important for the final customer.

26.02.2021fromDavid Finlay I was sceptical about the quality of these Nankang tyres, when I bought them I was influenced by the price, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the grip level both in the dry and wet. I like to drive quickly but not dangerously and I have felt when the tyres have been close to their limit, which is a big plus point. My only complaint would be they do tend to follow tracks in the road, but they are quite wide.

08.12.2020fromFas I have used the tyres to gain a stretched look on some 7j Porsche wheels on my golf, the tyres are very good for stretching but be aware it will effect the car's handling at higher speeds.
20.04.2020fromKush My driving style starts on a scale ranging from progressive up to raging bull! No, I'm kidding, however I do drive a good mix of motorway, town, city and country roads frequently. This is all done in a 'spirited' way and in town full of potholes.
The tyres have done well so far, no visible wear and tear yet, they look new still. They've absorbed a few potholes and survived. My tyre pressure is 38psi on the 19's. In the sun and warm - they are great. In the wet and cold - they are slippery.
These tyres are really well priced and perform really well for standard driving within the limits. If you want to push the limits or 'really' enjoy a nice bit of open road - they are good in the dry but not in the wet. Like other people have said they are predictable when slipping however in the wet, they struggle to find grip too easily.
