All season tyres - suitable for all weather conditions
All-season tyres are the perfect combination between summer and winter tyres. All-season tyres impress by their good driving qualities regardless the weather conditions and the road. The specially developed profile of all-season tyres ensures a comfortable drive throughout the whole year. All-season tyres were specifically designed for all weather conditions thus eliminating the need to change the tyres depending on the season. Discover the new alternative to summer and winter tyres: the all-season tyres. We have a wide offer from leading manufacturers at top prices! The all-season tyres designed for winter conditions need to have the "M + S" marking (or M & S, MS). Some models may also have the snowflake symbol. M + S tyres with snowflake symbol meet the higher quality standards.
 
Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

First time I have used Accelera and first time with All Seasons. Was expecting to sacrifice some fuel economy and notice increased noise especially as is a hybrid. Very happy to find neither has been the case, in fact the noise was lower than previous tyres. Fuel economy has not suffered. I have driven in snow and was amazed at how they gripped even when braking normally, although the car is AWD. Have had to break very suddenly on 2 occasions and was able to do so with absolute confidence. Car handled noticeably better when cornering and comfort was good also. Hope these aren't discontinued as will be sticking with them when need replacing.

Such an amazing tyre from Yokohama. Equally as good, if not better, than both Uniroyal and Yokohama winter tyres that I have used in the past. So much quieter too than winter tyres. Top rated traction on both snow and ice. I have passed taxi drivers and over enthusiastic prestige German car drivers trying to go up steep snow covered hills as the Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21 just kept on going with confidence and tenacious grip. I would swear blind that my humble Skoda Octavia Combi was a 4 x 4 rather than FWD! I understand that this tyre is TUV Sud approved and I can totally as to understand why. Such good valve tyres so go and purchase some, you will not regret it!

Gute Reifen, siehe meine Sternebewertung. Warum ich hier schreibe, hat einen anderen Grund. Der Reifen hat EU Label B für Nässeeigenschaften, was bedeutet, dass der Reifen bei Nässe gut ist. Das trifft meiner Meinung nach zu, er ist gut. Gut ist besser als durchschnittlich und logischweise deutlich besser, als schlecht. Es gibt x Tests, die etwas anderes als das EU Label behaupten und sagen, er sei schlecht. Meine Bitte daher, wer auch immer zuständig ist: entweder das EU Label ist Unfug, oder die Tests. Beides passt bei diesen Reifen nicht zusammen. Vielleicht fallen sie auch sehr unterschiedlich aus oder passen zu manchen Autos gar nicht. Also nochmal mein persönliches Fazit: ich suchte günstige Reifen mit Berge Label, also offizielle Winterreifen, die bei Nässe gut sind. Meine Wahl fiel auf diese Reifen und sie war richtig. Ich kann die Reifen empfehlen.

I have already 12000 km with this tires and the feeling is very good, even drove with 130 on highway on light rain without any problems, drove on ice roads and it was ok. I gave 4 stars on the show grip because I did not test them yet on show... but overall are very good!

Noisy tires. Every day i hear it around 80kmh. Like your car is defect. This all since i have this bad tires. I dont buy this again.

Affordable tires. But the biggest problem is everytime the noise around the 80kmh. Like your wheelbearings are defect. I read more complains about this tire about the noise. China tires.... They promise a lot (extreme low noise in the specs... But in real you buy "crap".

I am using xl 97v 205 55 16. Tyre is really good in terms of driving dynamics either in snow or dry. I am more satisfied then my hankook summer tyres installed by the car manufacturer in hot weather and did not observe any weakness in snow. No effect on fuel consumption. No sign of unusual wear. It shows little weakness in aquaplaning. Its major down side is noise. If the road surface is good noise level is acceptable , but as the surface gets worse noise levels becomes unbearable. Moreover I was very satisfied in terms of road noise with my older summer tyres of which have noise level rating of 71db. I would definitely by it for a better road noise insulated car but not with my current car.
