Comment:
I put in a great deal of research when selecting an all seasons tyre for the X5. The WR SUV 3 from Nokian seemed to have the best all round performance. The first set I bought in 2015. I replaced the front two tyres after 22,000 miles, only because one was damaged by a pot hole. The Nokians have worked well in both the extreme heat of a Turkish Summer (46c) and the extreme cold of Polish and Norwegian winters (-30c). The dry weather performance was equal to Vredstein high performance tyres I used previously. The cold weather performance was impressive even at motorway speeds in snow and slush, snow upto 8 inches deep didn’t even phase them on country roads. Mud and snow while driving off road also proved little problem. The wet grip was almost as good as the Vredsteins, but you have to really push hard in the wet to find the limit even at autobahn speeds.. If you need a good all round all season tyre for your SUV then these are worth looking at..

Comment:
Slight decrease in MPG, no noise difference. Fortunately (or unfortunately) only encountered snow once this winter so unable to properly test them out.
